Nitto Ridge Grappler vs Toyo RT Trail

Funny I have'nt read anything about weak sidewalls except in the 2 ply sidewall. The lt tires are 3ply. Fast wearing doesn´t concern me much because I'll be replacing them due to age before getting close to 45,000 miles.

    expedition VW beetle

I´m sad to say that my over 50 years love affair with bugs/bajas/things has come to an end. My first car at 16 was a 1967 bug (1500cc,1st year 12v) and being a surfer in southern California it was only natural to explore Baja wich led to a series of bajas and such. I've owned a 63,65 (baja)...

    Hilary and California Sur

Campo Rene, Abreojos,La Bocana and Asucion got torn up badly (roads, homes, coop,y mucho mas). A couple of washouts on highway 5 on the way to Gonzaga. The road out to Bahia de los Angeles wash out again. Santa Rosalia took a hard hit. That's all I have heard about so far.

    Yetti's 19 ZR2 ( Zelda)

I highly recomend the sy-clone pre filter. I've had mine a couple of years now and have never had to blow out the filter out as I did before with the ram air. They are expensive but well worth the dough. I too do alot of dusty roads (silt beds).

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

The mount did not come with the starlink but it is a starlink product. I got it on amazon for 90 bucks. It's called a roof/pivot mount. I'm just finishing up my utbdr trip and it has been fantastic! Unfortunately I didn't use it much in forests as most of the trails above 9000 ft were closed due...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I've had zero issues with connectivity but I have only used it in remote Baja and at home with wide open skies. I've read that it can be hard to connect in tall forests, you need a clearing.I'll know more about that soon as I´m going to do the UTBDR this month.

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Mine still looks good after 4+ years (sans the pin striping;)) but the black gussets have lost alot of paint. Mine lives indoors when not on the road. Never been waxed.

Our Solar System: 300W of solar - Yeti 1500x

Nice setup DTW! I did the same kinda of upgrades with my system. I had /have a Jackery 1000 with 2 100w folding panels. It worked well until I upgraded my fridge to a Dometic 75l dz and got the Starlink. When I run the freezer full time and am using the Starlink it chews up the power real fast...
