    The Great Wiffleball Bat Rally

Big congrats on this major achievement. You and your daughter are in the record books as having earned the coveted ExPo Wiffleball Bat. Nobody ever remembers who was second place. Long after we're all gone your accomplishments will endure. Best of luck in your title defense.

    Compressors: Patton philosophy?

Eric, I should have mentioned that the fittings are not NPT. If you are bent on a hard mount OBA, you'll need to get an NPT tap to tap out the cyl head. I just keep it in the bag and pullit out and allegator clip it to the battery when I need to use it. The advantage (or disadvantage) is that...

    Compressors: Patton philosophy?

MV-50 has been real trooper for me. It is probably as quick or quicker than my Viar 450. My only complaint is the cheezy inline fuse on the power lead, but it's easily replaced with superior parts. I have been using the MV-50 exclusivly for three years now without issue. I am careful to...

    AT trailer fails the test

Best post of the thread :clapsmile I will agree with you on the point that the AT trailer should be expected to endure the rough but very reasonable roads encountered and I am sure 9 times out of 10 they would. I disagree in your assessment of a utility trailers ability to stay intact over...

    AT trailer fails the test

A customer used an Adventure Trailer and it had a couple of mechanical breakdowns. Is it the customer’s fault, I don’t really think so. The AT trailer is built to tackle austere conditions so it’s reasonable to expect that the AT Chaser would have held up under the road conditions encountered...

    AT trailer fails the test

Haven’t seen the article, not a subscriber to the magazine. Glad to hear they’re adding more adventure travel to their pages. The rack failure doesn’t seem like it’s insurmountable and probably easily corrected. Did they explain the nature of the AT Chaser suspension failure?

    Post your camp coffee setup

I am simple and unexciting, just a small French Press and any available means of heating water. Has worked with good results for years and I have managed to not break the tempered glass. I'd recommend it for its simplicity and consistency. The downside is that thorough cleaning required more...

What type of compressor do you use?

I have a Viair 450. I also have an MV-50. I am so satisfied with the performance and convenience of the MV-50 that I haven't remounted the Viair yet. In a perfect world a high quality compressor with allegator battery clamps would work best for me. I have come to love portability.

    Wife for sale..

So she resents the Disco, not hates it. She resents all the credit card charges, the time it spends inoperative in the driveway and the size of the oil spot on that driveway. She’s already questioning your sanity for owning a Disco, the last thing you want to do is press your luck by calling...
