With the 3rd row seating removed, I'm getting: 56.5 inch across wall to wall above the wheel arches. 41.5 between the wheel arches. 52 inches wall to wall at the opening to the back.

Ive got this guy. Rimowa Salsa Air. The big size, but they have multiple sizes down to carry-on. Had it for two or three years now. Been through Comm air and Mil air, taxis, etc. No issues at all. So light it allows for more weight towards its contents...

I just returned their Covert DC Pants. They were nice, but I wasn't into that heavy canvas as I thought I would be. I'm about to be in the desert for a year, so looking for something more breathable.

Love those boots! I have a similar pair from Scarpa bought new in 2003. Still in good condition today. Have to admit though, when I tried on a pair of the popular Asolo Fugitives a few years back and saw how light weight they were, I haven't put the Scarpa's back on since. They were like armor...

That bad? If I bring a 4runner with a mild modifications, I'd need to revert everything to stock? Is there a difference if I'm there for US Gov, and only for a year? Also, is there any cheap land rovers or similar type vehicles i could buy rather then bringing over my own?

2007 Limited 4x4, V6. Toytec Ultimate 3" with UCA and diff drop and 265/65/18 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO. It's a daily driver, but has been on a few road trips to KY, and a small Maine adventure. Loving every minute of it.
