Ok thanks for the info. Looks like lots of folks just take the airbags off and do a coil conversion. Found a kit for $380 all bolt on. That might be the way we end up going.

Also meant to mention I would consider renting it for a few nights if someone wanted to try it before they bought it. We would just have to work some things out first to cover all bases.

Forgot to mention bus currently has 79,000 original miles and came from a preschool in California. The motor and tranny were replaced at 70,000 so it still has roughly 90,000 miles or 2 1/2 years on the warranty anywhere in North America.

Got the bed platform in today. It’s really sturdy. We have a queen short mattress so it’s 60x75. The width of the bus inside the walls is 76 1/2 so it worked out perfect.
