M416 Hubs; where to find specifications

I think M416 axle is 5x5.5. I have a pair of M416 to Wrangler JL US Wheel Adapters 5x5.5 to 5x5 14x1.5 Studs laying at home. I was going to use my original JL wheel and tire but decided against and order new set of Military NDT tires instead

NEED advice on DIY Trailer Build

@canorisa Hey Thank you. I got the cross bar from the same guy i brought the no-weld brackets :) Compact Camping Trailers. The cross bars were $99 for three 56" bars. They cost a little more now with inflation. The previous owner didnt have any paper work for the trailer, but it does look...

NEED advice on DIY Trailer Build

@canorisa beautiful trailer! Attached is my "restored" Vietnam era M416 that I turned it into a camper. This may answer some of your questions. The trailer was rattle-can painted and the drilling didn't cause any "damage." We've gone camping a few times and four of us (two adults and two...

M416 to Wrangler JL wheel adapters

Good day, I was wondering if anyone has used the M416 to JL wheel adapters from https://www.uswheeladapters.com/m416-wheel-adapters/ They look decent and since I have a set of 5 tires and wheels from my Sport S laying around, this is the cheaper route than buying two new military tires or new...

    M416 wiring Harnesses help!

Thanks @quickfarms! It was a ground issue... and lights are working great now. However only the top two light bulbs work... running light and signal light. I just realized that the trailer lights do not include reverse lights? It looks like my M416 tail light has a reverse light on the bottom...

    A Southern M416

Fantastic!!! I really like what you did to the trailer! For my part, I have 95% finished with the frame and currently just staring at the tub (ha!). The tub on my trailer is is much worse shape than yours. I hope to get started on it next week. I really like the tailgate and the lid!!

    My M416 Build Attemp

The weather has been decent, and with the COVID-19 lock down in place I was able to start some work on the trailer. I took the axle and the springs off the frame and worked on cleaning it. Using an angle grinder and 4-1/2 strip&Clean Discs I was able to clean the frame. Next is to to work on...

    A Southern M416

@A Southern Gentleman The trailer is coming together nicely!! Well done! If I may ask, where do you source the nuts and bolts? Is there a place I can order a set of different sizes for the M416 or just purchase one by one from a local hardware store?

This is my m416B1 Rescue Thread

On my M416, here's what the previous owner did to keep the rear sides from being flexible. He welded a pretty thick slab of metal from the tub to the rear loop that's attached to the frame. (see the red circles).
