I've got one for my JK and love it. Originally bought it because I have to park downtown if I drive into work and the Jeep's been broken into twice. However, also really like having a second level to pack stuff on when going camping and such.

John, Haven't looking into the compatibility of the Gobi rack and the AEV snorkel, sorry. There are snorkels that do work with it though so when I decide to get one, I'm not too worried.

I'd look at a 2.5" lift from Rockkrawler. Would give you a little more clearance, but more importantly, they come with progressive springs. The AEV lift also has progressive springs but at 3.5" is probably higher than you want to go. The progressive springs would certainly help with sagging...
