I can't reply/answer a post, so I'll try it this way Using a 16 " wheel on the 2018 Ruby, with BIG BRAKES depends solely on the mfg and wheel wall taper--my PROCPMPS have 3/8" clearance because they have 4.5" backspace and that seems to be desired, or less--will give plenty caliper/wheel...

I can't enter a post to answer your question--so--I have 3/8" clearance on the front RUBY brake calipers with the PROCOMP 16X8" ALLOY WHEELS--JIMBO

Since my return from Ca. I've installed the HANKOOK DYNAPROS/PROCOMP 16" wheels from my "08 JKUR and the DYNOMAX DUAL catback muffler-- JIMBO

No, it's not common--mine are all fine- Maybe some of the 4dr's built in Dec/Jan had that trouble-- W.E. JIMBO

Yes they have skid plates on the Ruby(full), I'm not sure of the other models and-- The JL/w manual can be "CLUTCH POPPED" to start-- There are various connections you can make to jump start/w a dead battery-but the ECM system is quite complex- W.E. JIMBO

That's a good opinion and I agree with it all, but At my age and having owned/modified enough off-road vehicles that were "BARE", with minimum NICETIES-- THIS JL HAS EVERYTHING WANTED/NEEDED AND STILL COMES WITH A WARRANTY- I'm really impressed with this little jewel W.E. JIMBO
