    1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 000 $ this is good one :)

I found this really funny and having the seller not pick up on it: Q: I was really interested in this vehicle as a collector's item, however, your addition of an aftermarket Reese tow-hitch AND bumper stickers has greatly reduced the resale value on this vehicle...wouldn't you agree? I am...

Do you leave your RTT mounted?

I leave mine on all the time for 3 reasons: 1. I have a shop/garage that I can get the RTT out of the elements; 2. It's too heavy to easily take off and on; (even if I had a shop ceiling storage system, number 3 would trump taking it off) 3. My roof rack (BajaRack) is so low to the roof of my...

Outback Proven: long range fuel tank for tacoma

To clarify, is this LRA a replacement of the main tank? I already have an aux tank to the rear of the axle, below the charcoal filter. And does anyone, at least in the US, Canada, Alaska, really need 54 gallons of fuel on board?

Outback Proven: long range fuel tank for tacoma

Is this actually true: "(it's actually an FJ Cruiser..."? Are you saying these will also fit an FJC? A 2007 FJC? And replaces the main tank? Say yes to all and make my day. Thanks,

    Comfort of a RTT mattress!

See post #70. We have extensively tested this set up and it works like a dream. Easily inflated and gives just the added cushion to be really comfy. Open the valves as you get out of bed and they are deflated by the time you fold up the tent.

Why spend so much on an ARB fridge or Engel Fridge instead of electric cooler?

We have a Waeco 40L. My much better half and I were out for a full week and had enough room. We were in an area where there were no towns or any services so we had to make do. The drinks, as said before, can be added when the cold stuff is used. Drinks only take a couple of hours to cool down...

FJ Cruiser Drawer System & Fridge

FWIW: A Waeco 40L works great. With the back seat in, remove the front handle. The rear handle, the one you need, clears the rear door just fine. Waeco is a great fridge.

Hope you have good weather and enjoy your trip. As for the fuel, fill up in Mesquite, and with your extra you should be just fine. We are actually heading out for most of a week first thing tomorrow morning and start with Twin Point and going east as far as we can. Showing the sights to a...

    Water Storage solution

rb, there are built in vents in the lids. They don't leak even when the tank is full and sloshing around in the outback. BTW, I'm starting a second tank for a friend. This one should go much smoother than the first.

I don't know how the prices stack up against other storage units, but I thought these are a good idea: http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=23507&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=ET&utm_campaign= 2012aug27

I have received quite a few PM's about this through the years and thought it was time to get this information into the trip report. Take a look at the legend at the end for explanations of the coords. Fw: Arizona Strip intersections Originally Posted by xpdishn here's what I have been...

    trasharoo improvement/changes thread

Ray, GREAT idea. I, and I think alot of us, have the same issue with the very limited space behind the tire. I'm definitely going to pull the spare and see if it can be done with a FJC. The "new" top strap doesn't really do anything for keeping the Roo up high on the tire. As for the quality...
