We ended up getting a FWC Project M a year ago. I see Roverking finally came out with a full-size version but we're pretty happy with the Project M and it weighs half as much. I don't think I want to go heavier given our Ram 1500 payload and I prefer the full popup to the wedge design.

I just finished a dog bed platform in the back of our Ram and used 80/20 for the first time. It's overbuilt but I like the result and 2 full size Sidio crates fit perfectly underneath with room to spare.

I'm giving the Sidio crates a try as well. I like the dividers, the lids and with reversible red or black bottom liner you can actually see what's in the crate! LOL I'm using them inside our FWC Project M so they don't need to be 100% waterproof/sealed for our application. Will report back when...

I've heard foam pipe insulation helps with this issue but haven't tried it yet.

I always go 10 gauge from the panel to the MPPT controller and to the battery. I prefer a little bit of overkill when it comes to solar wiring based on my experiences with thinner gauge wire.

We don't get our Project M until March but looking forward to next year's event! :)

Thanks for input! I can change the colors, but the behavior is the same no matter what color I choose. I love my MXT115 and I'm digging the rest of the MXT275 so far. I will hit up customer support as suggested and report back.
