Why does no one use a high truck shell?

Mission drives equipment. I chose a “mid” and thoroughly enjoy. For me, it’s not the height that limits me in parking garages but the length. A 6.5 bed is just a little too long to make the turn going up. I do have to watch my height, anything less than 8’ is a no-go (my own safety margin)...

I use this -- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FH85FW9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Seems to do a decent job of keeping house battery charged (mainly used with two 12-volt coolers). Full sun, I show 23 volts as the output.

Accessory system wired hot versus ignition-controlled

Struggling with wiring a camper shell either hot off the primary battery or switched through the ignition. Current plan is to run 2ga wire through a 50-amp marine circuit breaker off the primary battery back to the camper shell allowing 12-volt cooler and USB-charging station and LED lights...

Outdoor gear lab review of best camping stoves, 2019

Depends on your intended use. I've had a dual-burner for almost 40 years. The position of the burners make a true 2- burner almost non-existent. Most of what I do is heating water anyway, so this is what I use...
