Stoked to see this. Spent last winters weekends w/ my gf in a truck cap at the mountain. It was fine but left a lot to be desired. What part of the US are you in?

@KONNMAN Couldn't send pics of the sideview to the message so I'll post them here. I'll take a better angled one when I get home.

Cedar tongue and groove panelling and white oak floor installed, check. Now gotta figure out the bed build around the terrible heater unit.

I originally planned to rip out the rear heater in my Express but it's actually pretty nice. I crank it full blast before parking for the evening in the winter - warms up the whole rig and the Propex maintains that temp once stopped.

I did a Gaucho bed so it didn't interfere as much as I expected. Tougher issue if you're trying to sleep width-wise.

I have remote start, so when I wake up on a cold morning, I start the engine from under the covers and in 10 minutes... warm as toast.

You guys make a good argument for the heater. I'm gonna have to look into remote start, that would be ideal in the winter. Hopefully it's not too complicated to install on an old 06.

Make sure you have a smoke and CO alarm in the rig. You can set up relays to start the remote start based on temperature or low voltage. No need to wake up. :)
