This has been an amazing vehicle and we have enjoyed it immensely. We purchased the Element about 2.5 years ago with ~99,800 miles. This is our second element and installed the Ecamper as our last one had 300,000 miles( it’s still going). These vehicles are incredibly reliable and capable little cars. We have taken this thing many place and would love to keep it. Unfortunately we have added an elderly parent to our family and need vehicle to transport 5+ people comfortably. I just could not justify using this vehicle as a taxi.

This would make the perfect vehicle for a trans America trip.

Interested two questions can you tell us the measurement from the center console to the rear hatch. We have a tandem 29er mountain bike we would like to put in when we are away from the vehicle. And second the Defender in the background wow what is the story there and is it for sale?

The Elements with the ecamper sure have a little cult following. I've always been intrigued with that conversion. Bought an EX when they were new to the market MY2003. Great vehicle.
