so I've been following along on TW, and was wondering why you're choosing air bags as assistance rather than helper springs? (without previous experience to base it off of) it just seems like air bags would be more liable to puncture or leak where with a standard helper spring this wouldn't be possible

side note, that black trim line down the side pulls everything together REALLY well

Thanks 02orangedge! ... i have both helpers and airbags! 1500 lb Superspring helpers were installed when I swapped the axle. I thought I had to remove them to install, the air bags but was able to replace the 1 1/2" helper spring spacer with a 3/8" spacer...then the airbags are installed between the helper spring and frame. Best of both worlds if I blow a bag I still have back up steel springs...... I am very pleased with the ride with 40lbs of pressure in the Air bags! Raised the back about 1 1/2" but still a soft ride.

I have been working on the simple interior...upholstery and systems. Took a break from the interior today to install the snorkel.

The interior is coming together....flooring is being started tomorrow! My grey faux finish came out very well after I got through the learning curve...

been following along, this thing is wicked and I love that you kept it low tech- but I was curious, are you planning on leaving interior walls raw fiberglass?

Excellent work. I love it when someone recycles and comes up better than the sum of the parts. You'll probably make a profit when you sell it, if you don't count labor of course!

All the interior surfaces are getting a grey felt hull liner covering....the kitchen counter will, get a backsplash of some sort...Material TBD

Thanks Sedonut! Need to put 100K miles on it before I sell it! Can't put a price on my labor... probably over 1500 hours so far!
