Wow, this looks like an exceptionally well designed vehicle! Adding the link to your Facebook page here so people can find it easily: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083769623377

Why are you selling it by the way? And where did you take it? Looks like you traveled to Europe with it?

I wish we could see more pictures here or on your Facebook page. I am curious about the outdoor kitchen as well.

We are already thinking about our next vehicle and yours would have checked all the boxes. But unfortunately, we have to sell our truck first and these things take time... good luck with the sale!

Sale of these vehicles do take time.
We are not in a hurry. We are traveling in Alaska with it right now.
We were planning to take it to South America but our plans have changed and we will be spending more time in Africa (we have a small camper there).

we have tested the camper In Europe but didn't travel much there. We travelled from Halifax to Colorado in 2019.
Then mainly traveled in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming in 2020 & 2021. And now we got it to Alaska.

we couldn’t find a photo of our outdoor kitchen. It is simple with a big “counter” that is attached to the side of the vehicle and we can hook up our outdoor stove/grill and the water.

we designed it with everything we wanted and still kept it compact.

I love compact boxes and yours seems ideal.
I also love a dedicated sleeping spot ready with zero set up. You nailed it.

Our dedicated sleeping spot is only a zero setup for one person.
To keep it compact, have a sitting area, a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washing machine AND a nice kitchen (as my wife likes to cook and bake), we needed to do an “extendable” bed (very easy to extend and put it back) which still allows one to sleep and one to use the sitting area with full use of the kitchen.

yes, you nailed the compromises

Could one fabricate a platform to span the opening between the booth seats and a cushion be placed there? I have a friend who’d need a sleeping place and he’d fit within the dinette dimensions.

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill,
There are several options. Maybe the best one is to use an adjustable table pedestal stand for RVs/boats and use a “foldable” platform as a table. To convert into a bed when needed.
According to the drawings from our builder, the straight distance is 180 cm.
The vehicle is in storage at the moment and I could go measure it this week to confirm it.

thanks
Marc
PS: drawings attached.

Hi Bill,
It can't. The table can be easily removed but the dinette was not designed to be used as a bed.
Thanks
For me that is even better. I hate not having a table and chair just because I need a spot for a guest to sleep. As I age I value building what I need and if my kids, grandkids want to come they need a tent and sleeping bag just like I had.

You really did nail this.... I'm not quite ready but my next RV will be a van conversion of some kind.

1.8M is bang on for a spacious dinette. 72" plus or minus. I used to design restaurants and 72" worked. We had a few customers who wanted the extra 6 seats and we went to 66" dinettes... those were the last seats to fill. No one wanted to sit in a 66" dinette. Lots of RVs are closer to 60" which is way too tight.

Beds for houses are 78" to 80" but in an RV as a "guest" bed.... 72" has its advantages.

PS... nice compromize on the kitchen counter too at 21 ?" deep
