Hi all. So I have a Gobi Stealth roof rack on my Jeep JKU and also have a Freespirit Recreation Adventurer 55 RTT (about 135 lbs). As noted in several threads, mounting RTTs on the Gobi rack is a bit of a pain and because of my awning mounts, I would like to get the base of the tent a little above the Gobi outer rails, and I would like to be able to remove the tent when not on a trip a little more easily. My thought is to use some decent crossbars mounted to feet on the Gobi outer frame rails. Does anyone have any suggestions on mounting feet/pedestals that would work well on the roughly 1 inch round rail and good load capacity bars? I've searched but can't seem to find what I am looking for.
