We are really excited to announce here the Adventure Trailers Europe web site is officially up and running! Yipee! :wings:

Our European licensee, Kevin Baldwin of MUD UK has done a wonderful job with the website and the European specification and certified Adventure Trailers products. Our Overlanding friends in the EU are in good hands. Not only is Kevin an expert in all things Land Rover, he is also a respected journalist who is regularly published in 4x4 Magazine and Land Rover World. Always a good read.

Type of hitch for uk/eu version

Out of extreme curiosity, what type of hitch is used on the this uk/eu version of the trailer. As it seems like a Dixon Bate cast 50mm ball hitch, !!!!.

The EU spec trailer can be supplied with 50mm ball, NATO ring or any of the regular ring hitches. We are unable to supply any of the articulating hitches typically found on US or Aussie trailers due to their lack of EU approval. Every new trailer sold in Europe now has to comply with European Type Approval regs. This has had a massive impact on the EU trailer industry and will make many imported trailers 'illegal' because much of the equipment found on overseas trailers don't and won't meet type approval legislation.

Thanks to all for the encouragement and kind words. This could not have happened without Kevin's commitment and several years of preparation. We exported our first Chaser to the UK in 2007 and it has taken a long time to get to this point. We are excited that AT is the first to meet the new stringent EU standard, raising the bar yet again.

Hello in europe you use a Land Rover defender wheels, is by an adapter?? or with a Land Rover Hub??? If is this, which manufacturer, or where can i find it???
