Here is a little teaser....we imported another JDM a year ago to take over the job of our aging old truck. (I.e. We no longer need to crawl though the 2 door extracab for our family & dog!!!) Final transplant details are in the works as time permits. It's a retired japanese fire truck, 2002 1 Ton Toyota Dyna LY270 AWD 5spd manual with a 5L 4cyl NA diesel engine, only 16000km young! Cool factor: Most of drivetrain components are identical to my current old truck! This one comes stock with a 4.56 gear ratio. At last, the old truck bed can be used for other general purposes again! Happy Holidays! 20231220_113531.jpg 20230613_102714.jpg20231101_161253.jpg20231226_124423.jpg

I've been putting a lot of energy into another project (Thread) lately & the result paid off last night with its 1st grooming pass! Hopefully now that's almost out of most of my way, I can begin to focus on an almost complete redo on the camper interior layout to gain more precious usable space. That 2 milk crates square footage of standing space with a fully geared & packed camper for 3 + a dog is starting to feel a bit tight! An eating table would be a welcome addition.

Nice, does that have a turbo on it? Which tracks are you using?

It's a Non turbo. So far we've only just tried grooming at low speed (low 1st & 2nd) with gentle gas input at walking - speed walking pace, havent gone beyond 15km/hr yet. I can imagine in knee or deeper untracked pow, turbo would be nice to go faster at low 4th. Tracks are 2nd hand from Can-am Apache Backcountry, the non LT version
