AlpineQuest GPS Hiking

On the recommendation of our own theksmith, thanks BTW, I got http://www.alpinequest.net/ yesterday. I had tried the free version the day before and it looked good but the things I wanted to check out, importing routes, drawing tracks, etc, do not work with the free version. I have managed to import routes and get it to draw tracks so far. Of course that was yesterday so I probably have forgot how I did it today. That's what happens when this old fart try's to learn something new about computers. It will get better. BTW I have it running on a 3 or 4 year old Samsung Tab E.

I thought I would start a thread here if anyone else has questions and hopefully answers about AlpineQuest. theksmith are you listening:)

I'll start. I am learning to download maps for offline and wanted to play with different zoom levels. When I decide what I like how do I delete the ones I did at different zoom levels. Also what is a good usable zoom level that is a balance between detail and storage space.
