This is the type of can I am using. I got mine from a source that imported them from Germany. Try to get them from a local source so you can see them first, there are cheepo
Chinese cans that are not welded together properly so be cautious of your source. Don't get the least expensive thing out there. It should have three handles to carry not one.

Yeah those are the cheap Chinese cans. British Atlantic has the real deal cans.

Verkstad is 100% correct! On my tablet so couldn't see manufacturer mark on the can though. Lexington has been known in the past to sell the cheaper clone container. Plus I hate that carb nozzle more than my cheating and stealing ex-wife!

Thats ”the real deal”. Valpro, Wavian & Wedco are a few brands of high quality containers.
Considering I bought loads of 'eruo-cans back when they were 10$ or so. That Lexington example dammed expensive !
I have zero problem paying a bit more for quality when it comes to carrying fuel. My Rotopax are great, very reliable, but their footprint isn't as compatible as I would like with my trailer.

$10 these days only gets you a couple decent cups of coffee! LOL

Atlantic British cans are not stamped in the metal as far as I can see from their pics. However there is a red sticker that states "For non-potable water use". I guess this like matress labels and the matress police.

I’ve got a couple Wavian gas cans and they’ve performed just fine. I keep one on the back of the Jeep as a reserve, the other in my garage. Never had any fume or liquid leakage, pouring it into the gas tank with the plastic extender spout is a little tedious but works OK.
