Axle issue

I need some help if y'all don't mind.

I have an axle that I need to order, but I've been told it is not possible by the dealer. (trailerpartsdepot) They say the length is too short and the hubs won't fit the axle.

The dimensions are as follows:

Hub face to Hub face = 52"
Brake flange = Yes
Spring Centers = 36-1/8"
Round 3500 lbs tube
6 x 5.5 hubs

This is a Bantam T3 C that I want to run Toyota BBS Rims on and I know I've seen this done before, so what is not working here?

Anything is possible with the proper application of time and money - talk to a custom axle shop like Arizona Axle (http://www.axle.com/) to see if they balk at it.

Most axle places I know of personally are actual drive axle specialists like Currie Enterprises - they can do some interesting things with axles and rear ends.

That is pretty close to what I got, I think it was a 55" WMS-WMS with 48" spring perch. Mine was a custom Dexter with 10" brakes and 3" axle tube. Try RedNeck Trailer Supply. They did well by me... Shipping was a bit of a fiasco, but they straightened it out. Just make sure you're both on the same page with shipping methods and charges.

Thanks for the info Don. I called RNTS and they've got me hooked up so far. They're going to confirm the order with pricing and shipping and e-mail me back today.
