Hi all, I'm new to this site... I posted this in another forum already, but now that I found this one I figured it might be more appropriate seeing as its not lumped in with Europe, Asia and Africa as well. (well at least we are kind of close to Asia) xD
Is anyone heading to the eclipse overland?
I'm in WA and interested to connect with anyone contemplating the journey.
My intended route is Albany-Warburton-Uluru-Mt Isa-Cairns
following
Warburton Hwy (meanders along old Gunbarrel Hwy, Leonora to Uluru)
Plenty Hwy (Alice Springs to Mt Isa)
Savannah Way (Mt Isa to Cairns)
Assuming I can get my **** together in time (gotta do business tax returns, prep for the trip, etc) I will have a 17' caravan on the back (not towing) of my work truck (Hino 4x4) and a friend will join in his Landcruiser as company from Albany to Warburton. Leaving Albany early October.
