How did you attach your awning? I thought about some standoff alum but haven't found anything in that length.

Recently got back from a wonderful trip in Owens/Death Valleys. Five days and four nights consisting of the White Mountains, Volcanic Tablelands, Mono Lake, and Death Valley-Mahogany Flat Campground. I tested out using my Kelty Tarp 12 and it worked great.

2005 Grandby Shell on 2017 F-250

Hi all,

A first shot of my latest build: Pre-owned 2005 FWC Grandby Shell on a new 2017 F-250 regular cab 4x4, 6.2L gas. The interior of the FWC was built out by the previous (original) owner; nice and basic which is what I was looking for. I plan on living with it a bit then refurbishing to my needs.

My previous project was a 2011 Frontier Crew Cab with Flip-pac (bought new), which I sold to a friend.

Looking forward to getting more involved with the community here!

Nice rig there rB5, enjoy, your plan to use it for a while before mods is a great idea. I wish I camped in my new build with no interior and just milk crates for a while and then built the cabinets. Oh well

Picked up a well equipped FWC Hawk. After doing some research on this and other websites I decided to pair it with a 2017 Ford F350 with the 6.7 powerstroke. This is a great resource and thanks for having me be part of it. I hope to contribute more now that I have something worth sharing.
