my jeep didnt have a console when i bought it so i found this at work and welded a piano hinge to the back of it and cut out the piece for the parking break and added a ubolt to put a padlock on it if i have any valuables in there, cost about $25

This is what I have going for my Sons 87 Burban. It's frame is made from 3/4' sq. tubing and will be inclose with 16 gauge metal. You can see where the radios are going to be placed on the front part with the angle, and the rest will be for storage that will be custom fitted for many things. The cover will be made to lock and will have a arm pad on top.
