Chevrolet Express Van 4x4 Conversions (WeldTec Designs)

We wanted to share with you guys what WeldTec Designs is now doing for the Chevrolet Express 2500/3500 vans when it comes to 4x4 conversions. This all started with the SEMA build in 2016 where we designed our coilover suspension as a upgrade to the Quigley 4x4 torsion bar set up. This kit allows you to run a 35" tire and gives you an amazing ride coupled with our custom leafs and shock options for the rear. Yes this kit is fun and well worth the coin but may be overkill for many.

After doing several of these colilover suspension kits including a Explorer van conversion in our SEMA 2017 build we decided it was time to do our own 4x4 conversion. In 2018 we completed our first full 4x4 conversions including our 2018 Sema build along with the 6.6 and new 2.8L durmax. All of these builds included our coilover suspension kit along with lots of other fun stuff like bumpers and roof racks.

Now in 2019 we are introducing our toned down 4x4 conversion in a torsion bar set up as what most others are offering for the Chevrolet Express vans when converting them. Our Torsion bar setup does include FOX shocks at all 4 corners with the option of doing custom springs in the rear. These 4x4 conversions do include the lift which is giving it 5" of lift and will allow you to run a 33" tire.

We will be adding a lot more to this thread but wanted to introduce what WeldTec Designs is now doing in 2019 for all of you Chevrolet Express Van owners!
