DIY trailer build tool question?

There's plenty of cool tools you could buy, plasma cutter, dimpling dies, fancy squares, tig welder, kreg jigs.... Are any of them necessary? Not really, start with what you've got and if you find there's something you need buy it if it's something you'll use more than on this build or borrow/rent whatever else you might need.

The right tools make good work easier, but sometimes you just got to make do with what you've got.

If you are near any reasonably sized city/town you might find a makerspace that has tools and space available for use and also a community of people with knowledge on using those tools and a passion for building things.

One less common tool that is nice for busting rust is a pneumatic needle gun. It gobbles air, but can knock a lot of rust and scale from tough to reach spots.
