Dog clothing

My daschund wears a Ruff Wear PFD, but we have not tried their clothing, but I do think they make solid products based upon the PFD quality.

You might find a solution in making something. If you know someone that can sew, take an old jacket of your own, cut it up, fit to your dog and fab out a custom piece of clothing for them. I have started leveraging a sewer I have in the family and it's really paying off!

Calamaridog has a fleece jacket from Petco (Reese brand?) and some mittens. She can play in the snow all day with that stuff on.

I bought several neoprene vests for my Labs when I was doing a lot of cold weather waterfowling. They work very well.

Have two for sale cheap if you dog is the right size...

Just a thought: Anything that compresses a dog's fur takes away the insulation - A tight coat on a medium or long hair dog may be colder than no coat at all. Just like putting a heavy blanket over a down sleeping bag.

I'm working on getting my Australian Shepherd to wear Doggles when riding in the convertible. I don't know why.
