I didn’t research enough in choosing this trail, I use to have 99 wrangler. I’ve done the tourist trap Hells Revenge, Fins and things dodging mouth breathers in $30k side by sides. It was definitely an experience. Few years later I wanted to plan an actual trail, I’ve seen pictures of a few spots on Elephant Hill trail South of Moab almost an hour. I saw the rules for the trail on the permit site, no side by sides allowed, I preemptively decided this is the trail I wanted. Is there a word for near foolish?
It turned into an excellent adventure, pushing my near stock, 31 year old trooper, do do things I never planned on asking. And as it’s properly named, the Trooper didn’t let me down.
