Question please...I have a Wilson external cellphone antenna (roof mounted) that I use with my (very old but rugged) Motorola V10 flip phone. I get reception in remote areas where nobody else does. I don't have a booster, just the external antenna.
I read in the Wilson site that they have a kit for a blackberry 8703e, which includes a booster and an external antenna. The blackberry does not have a port for the antenna, so the Wilson kit uses a piece of velcro to "connect" the antenna cable to the blackberry. Here's a link to the kit.

My question - can you really get an electrical connection with a piece of velcro? Does this kit improve reception?
