I would be a buyer!!! Been lurking on the site for a year already looking for a diesel van. Craigslist locally has been a complete waste of time.

Is anybody close by and willing to check it out, happy to compensate? I am in New York so would have the van shipped most likely or fly out and drive back...it would be the 1st adventure!!

I hear ya, vehicles coming out of the NE on general and NY in particular are scary to me.

Depending on what the seller means by "fully bulletproofed" that could be a nice start for a build. (I would hope that "full" included the FICM and injectors)

Well, I was in contact with the owner via email...he was going to call me this morning (he had bumped the price from $6500 to $7500!) emailed to ask if he could call as no phone number was listed!!! emailed me back saying its sold! Good for him but really what is the ************* deal with Craigslist people???

I am still looking for a van! Any advice??

I will have one for sale soon. Like two weeks. It is a 2010 E350 Standard length. Quad Van conversion. 203,000 miles, but a new rebuilt motor with 3 year/100,000 mile warranty just got installed and the transmission was rebuilt and has a 1 year parts and labor warranty on it. 12 passenger and all seats are vinyl. Im going to put some new tires on it. It will be about $25K when its ready.

Cool 4wd Astro conversion w/ high roof:

1999 Chevrolet Astro LT All Wheel Drive with Kit Fox camper conversion, originally priced new at $43,000.00.

That's a pretty slick setup. Efficient use of space with the pivoted seats supporting part of the bed cushions. Not sure how comfortable it'd be, but probably OK for supporting lower legs and feet. I still can't figure out what's supporting the cushions on the other end.

Slick indeed. Yet another camper conversion that's great for two people. I like the rear kitchen - I wanted to do something like that for mine, but could never find a way to leave enough room to access the pop-top and seat 3 people on the road.

Could be a sweet one to buy strip and crush the leftover.
