Four wheel campers question???

AzRover

Observer
I would like to put an older Four wheels camper, I think it's a 1978 Grandby, in my US M101 trailer.
My one concern about fit is the space between the wheel wells. Does anyone know how much space is needed between the wheel wells? The M101 has 45 1/2 inches between the wheel wells.
Thanks,
Steve

The older, full sized, four wheel campers, and the new ones too, are at least 48" between the wheel well humps.

The smaller campers going on the smaller trucks like the tacoma, ranger, frontier, mazda, etc, might be a better choice for fit.

They are approx. 38" between the wheel well humps.

Hope this helps.

Its a great idea if you can get a camper to fit your trailer.
