FS: PRICE REDUCED: '14 Turtleback Trailer - $15k, Tacoma, WA

Located in Gig Harbor (near Tacoma), Washington. This was the #13 trailer that came off the production line, and was picked up at the Overland Expo in 2014 with a CVT Denali (4 person) tent. This trailer has been all over the place and has seen a lot of off road miles. It isn't as fancy as buying one brand new, and isn't in brand new condition, but it has been proven and the few faults are known.

It has the torsion axle suspension and is sitting on 35" STT Pros and has the Toyota/Lexus lug pattern. The CVT Denali that is in pretty darn good condition and includes a brand new, never unfolded annex. The only fault with the tent would be that some of the zippers are getting worn and are stubborn to get closed (mainly the access by the fwd ladder). Rain fly works great, and keeps the inside of the tent mostly dry in the rain/snow. Also includes a 270 degree awning by Foxwing that is in good condition. The zip on cover is showing UV degradation, but still has time left before it needs replacing. Electrical is fairly simple compared to the new Turtlebacks. It has a battery with a solar charger, the electrical system is mostly for running the water pump, 12v outlets, and USB chargers. We kept the fridge in the tow vehicle. The battery is most likely on borrowed time. Water pump and sink are working well. Water heater is an instant propane type that I can't get to work. I've been told that it should be an easy fix, but I can't guarantee that. A new heater (with a tank instead of instant) would be a great upgrade if you need hot water (cold showers are almost as good as caffeine to wake you up, however!) The current stove works, but I had on my list to upgrade if I kept it. It has stubborn knobs, and takes longer than ideal to boil water. That would be a pretty easy swap out to something like this: https://partnersteel.com/official-cook-partner

Comes with a Max Coupler and added more reverse lights for backing into a good spot in the dark. Also has a spare hub on the rear swing out. I added a 2x2 hitch receiver to the swing out to carry a mountain bike or two and still be able to get to the kitchen.

It isn't in "like new" condition, because it has been used, but loved and taken care of. We wouldn't hesitate to take it deep into the Maze tomorrow, but a few quick upgrades like a stove and new battery would make it more pleasurable.

We are sad to see this go. Some of the best memories of raising our kids were possible due to this trailer, but we are on to new things. We would love to see this go to a young family that would use this as much as we did!

Asking $16,000 with everything listed, but open to offers. I need the room and thought I had it sold, so I'm a "motivated seller".

7/25/22 Update- I'd really like this gone, price reduced to $15,000. Send your offers!

My family and I are interested in your camper. Is there any possibility of shipment? I’m on the east coast and as much as I would love a road trip it’s not in the cards this summer.
thank you for the consideration.

Thank you for your response.
I ended up finding a trailer in my town in Connecticut that was listed on this forum. Good luck with the sale and all your adventures
