Got it setup in the new truck (2020 Ford F-250 with Sync3) and it seems to work awesome! No need to mount iPad - and you can have the passenger route plan while the driver follows the route on CarPlay. I’m going to keep playing with it and seeing if there are bugs but so far so good!

Just saw the news in my email inbox. This is awesome news! I was just getting ready to hold my nose and buy an Android tablet just for running Gaia. No longer necessary, especially since Apply finally updated Carplay to allow for different apps to run on the Carplay screen and the mobile device.

Just received this news in my inbox as well.

New to GAIA, but loving it so far. I was in the process of researching an unobtrusive way to mount the Ipad in the RAM. Hadn't found one to date. Hopefully this news will eliminate the need to mount the IPad. A clean, uncluttered, cab makes traveling so much nicer.
