Gen III Montero Wheel Options

Hello. What wheel options are there for the Gen IIIs? I haven't seen very many people running anything other than stock wheels. Here is the wheel info for the Montero that I can find:

MITSUBISHI MONTERO 1992-06 Metric: 6 X 139.7
Standard: 6 X 5.5 12 X 1.5 108.0
MITSUBISHI MONTERO 2001 > Metric: 6 X 139.7
Standard: 6 X 5.5 15 X 6 12 X 1.5 67.1

This looks similar to the Toyota FJ specs:
TOYOTA FJ CRUISER 2007-08 Metric: 6 X 139.7
Standard: 6 X 5.5 12 X 1.5 108.0

Similar other than the nearly doubled center bore. If you want to use them you'll need hub-centric rings. Also consider the backspacing.

To my understanding, the hubs on the gen 3 are 108. Is this correct? If so, the only thing to worry about would be back spacing.

Discount Tire has about 50 different wheels available for Gen 3's, starting at under $100 ea.

My common sense tells me you want the ones you like and that also fit....

Yes, I do want to get some toyota fj wheels on my Montero. From what I've reaearched, gen 3 wheels have +10 mm offset and fj is -10 mm offset.

So they should work but may limit tire width. I'm only wanting to go 10.5 width anyhow so this should work out.

It may just be a trial and error project. Thanks for the help!

No, the Gen 1 and Gen 2 are 108mm. The Gen 3+ is 67.1mm.

Need something like this: http://www.centricrings.com/centric-rings-size-selector/out-diameter-106.00mm/in-diameter-67.10mm

But as I recall the Toyota wheels are lug centric anyway so you don't "need" the rings.
