High Mileage Pentastar JKs?

And this makes me feel like I'd be fine with a lower mileage 2010 or older with 4.10s or 4.37s and 33s or 34s. I like the older interior a little more anyway.. Also agree I would never go for an auto.

I have a 2011, which is think is the best of both worlds. It's the last year of the 3.8, so they had worked out all the bugs, and when it was stock I regularly got 22-24mpg.
It also has the new interior, which I think is much nicer and more modern. The old one scratches really easily.
The 6 speed makes the 3.8 totally fine in my opinion. I'm not winning any races, but that's not the point.
The Rubicon comes with factory 4.10s, which are great with a 285/75R17 (33) or the BFG 34x10.5r17 (also really only a 33)

I have 160k on my early '12, its still running well. Only issues so far have been a head that was under warranty at 75k and an oil filter housing at 145k. At least the filter housing is easy to do. :p
Mine has a six speed and other than driving it super super hard all the time (and having to do another clutch soon....) its been a great truck.

I bought a 2012 jku in 2012. Never could keep rear axle seals in it. At 95000 miles the drivers head went south. It was fixed under the 10 year 150000 mile warranty they gave all early 2012 owners. The upper valve train started making some odd noises at 107000 miles. Wife wanted new truck for hauling her horses. Sold jku, kept her 2006 diesel ram, and purchased her a new diesel ram. We have a 2004 LJ. Would not sell LJ .

I have a 2015 JKUR with 160,000 miles. Only real issue was a worn rocker/cam shaft which was replaced at 130,000 miles. The other issue was the oil cooler started leaking but was replaced. Have just done regular maintenance and oil changes and replaced parts before they wore out. I purchased the lifetime Mopar warranty and it's covered both issues.

2015 JKUR with 145,000 miles. Replaced radiator under warranty very early on and had an ignition coil go bad but that was a simple diy diagnose and replace.
