Great to see another one in progress.

Thanks again for your guidance on my LS swap. It's being shipped next week and the customer is very excited to get his hands on it.

Hey Matt. I have not made the choice of exhaust manifolds yet. I did a quick check on the stock LS3 manifolds and they may well fit, it's close. If not I like the Hooker cast manifolds. I do not have any miles on the other Hooker Headers I put on the crate 5.3L as I am still waiting on tag and insurance from the owner. It's been sitting for over two months now waiting.

Ever wonder what your 60/62 body looks like underneath? This will be stripped clean and coated with Lizard Skin then a coat of gloss black paint to better repel dirt.
Original paint/clean can be seen in the rear at the fuel sender hatch.

Down to the frame. This one is pretty clean with very little surface rust in just a few spots.

I think the next one I build is going to have radius arms and coils up front. I know guys are swapping in whole FJ80 chassis' under their FJ60's, but I wonder how similar the frames are, if a simple radius arm conversion on the 60 chassis is more appropriate. I don't really want coils in the back of a truck like this, so no need for the whole 80 chassis.

Nice work, as always, Stan.

Ahh the fun of it all. Underbody cleaned in prep for Lizard Skin. Silver is body, tan is Toyota applied, black later on.
