Jerry Can nozzle I've never seen before

Thought everyone might like to see this unique nozzle for the Nato style cans.

Hollow boat plug is a good way of putting it.

Maybe I should just drill out my filler opening so I could use this thing. A new filler neck for a Jeep is about $30 in case I ruined it.

I use to have a reducer for my old gerry can spouts. It looked like a mini funnel, the spout just fit inside the big end and the outside diameter of the small end was sized to get past the restriction plate in the filler neck.
They may still be available.
You could also just use a regular funnel.

This is the style of spout I grew up using, very similar.

This is the style of spout I grew up using, very similar.

It's the kind of nozzle I have with my old scepter cans.
I removed the filter fitting and I can use it for my FJ Cruiser. Have to be carefull, but it work.
