The shorty Patrol (Julmood) while doing the first 1000km maintenance from underneath, something might interest the gearheads around here^_^

Through my short drives it made 400-420km for full tank to reach E letter driving through the mountains with 3+1 inside, A/C and cool box on.

But here at the middle of the tank it made 328km in the city which sounds good to me (95 liters tank), which potentially means around 600-650km city driving. It counts as around 14.6L per 100km or 16.1 MPG

Do the Patrols not come stock with a transfer case skid plate? I know min hangs just below the cross member as is exposed.

Stunning pictures, amazing country and one sweet Patrol, even in stock form. The red is not for me but if you like it that is all that matters. Patrols have such a better designed suspension than the Cruisers, everything is up high and nice and tight, even the t-case is above the frame rails. Can't wait to see you start adding mods to it!

If I ever make it over there I hope you will take me for a ride in a Patrol! :)

Cheers

Doubt they do. There are aftermarket ones if you google though. I might consider that. Thanks for the note!

I'm kinda too much into black/red :) Just can't give it up, haha! About mods, there won't be much, engine is great although thirsty (but consider the 4.375 gear ratio + 5214 lbs which is very heavy for that size), and a stock rear diff lock. It would mostly be 35" on 16x10 and 2" king lift kit, I guess. A factory winch might come there as well. Those would be after buying my camera set + good PC.

If you ever come here you would drive it, and I would rent you a patrol as well ;) Most tracks are easy though but get very slippery during monsoon season. If you liked the photos then I just went to the neighboring mountains (around 3km away from home) and made some pics, so stick around!

Regards

Coriander, Coriandrum sativum, most people here don't know that they grow here in the wild everywhere!
