LETS SEE YOUR TRAILERS!!!!

Not an off-road type trailer but it does serve as a "command base" when i go out exploring in the Jeep. I haven't had it long enough to get many trips under the belt (or many pictures) but the Jeep pulls it well and the camper is in good shape. I am sure I will tinker with both to get them just right. A 2001 Wrangler and a 1977 Starcraft Starmaster 6 and they will hopefully serve many years of fun! :wings:

Last winter I built this little trailer. Except for the axle, wheels and springs, it is 100% aluminum. Dry, it weighs less than 350lbs … closer to 300. It wasn't designed for pulling over tough rocky trails, simply secondary and tertiary Forest Service roads. Some will be surprised at the tire choice. Me, too. Benefits are that they are light, cheap and available everywhere for about $60 mounted. I keep 2 spares inside the trailer. Material costs to build the trailer was less than $450. It's not perfect, but it works.

My '67 Montgomery Ward. It's going to get some rebuild work as the floor is rotted in the corners and one complete roof bow was missing completely. The tent is in great shape, and it's an Aluminum body so very light. With it hitched, I can pick up the back end and carry it...

I'm thinking of painting it to match my van, and use it as the "kid's room" when they come along on camping trips.

It's wonky looking because one of the roof bows was missing. I have made replacements for the center ones, but not installed yet. Need to replace that floor first.

It's a work in progress, everytime I think that I'm done with it I think of something new.
Here's the before.

1953 M101A1 resurrection in progress

This in my 1953 M101A1 used by the Army in the Korean War. It was purchased in a military action and then sat for over 40 years in a field that became a forest. I resurrected this pice of history last month and plan on rebuilding it from the ground up....
