Thanks! Camo is growing on me, will probably keep it. Slide is a Cargoglide comes out 100%. Took up more space then I planned but can still fit what we need.

Lid is a diamondback truck cover. They make a model for the m101a2. Thanks! I spoke with Jordan he said they've done about 30 of them.

Ok, major updates thanks to Tom, Andy and Ryan at Nuthouse Industries in Ohio! @nuthouseindustries

I'll take a shot a going over the build. 1st attempt was weak.

1. Picked up M101a2 in Altoona PA. 1993 had never seen service. Only marks were from fork lift taking it out of storage.

2. Drove home 4 hrs...no issues. Used a 7 pin adapter I got on eBay and light worked fine (except they wired it backwards had to switch the trailer wiring NBD took 10 minutes). One issue chains were too short due to 6 inch lift on Tahoe. Grabbed extensions at Tractor supply.

3. Ruptured achilles covered above no progress for a while! Lol

4. Wanted wheels to match Tahoe. Measured hubs per Lenny @ Motorsports Tech and got some American Mande adapters.

5. Installed adapters and repacked hubs pretty easy. One minor glitch lugs for 1st piece of adapter wouldn't allow socket to fit. NP Lenny overnighted new lugs...I tried to reuse the original lugs so my bad.

6. Next came the CargoGlide. After taking with them they suggested 1500xl for full extension. Install wasn't bad but super heavy and took up more room than I wanted but live and learn.

. Basically you install Riv nuts then bolt down. a couple of little issues since bed isn't flat but not bad.

7. Then came the lid. Used Diamondback Truck covers they have a model for m101a2. So easy! Only issue m101a2 doesn't have a lip to connect lid to trailer.
cb42115093514d8a7f162157d3ff3cc0.jpg
. I used turnbuckles in holes that were already in trailer that went thru cross member.
ff46da4f011310aa7a7f7f3b6d06fd6f.jpg
. So far so good 18hrs on road no issue. To lock the lid I just drilled holes in wall of bed.

8. At this point I hit my skill limits but no cc limits lol. Needed a rack, battery tongue box and 2" receiver. Tried a number of shops in SEPA, this industry is brutal on follow up! Anyway no one interested or just disappeared.

9. I had met Nuthouse Industries @ expo east and decided to give them a call. Responsiveness, follow up, willingness to work through the design was amazing! They also had the same trailer on site to use for test fitting. Awesome experience working with them and the following are the shots of finished product.

10. 2" receiver for bike rack...I brought this with me super long so Nuthouse could use 3 cross members ended up working well.

Tongue box w battery, shore power, solar input, switches, charging etc.

Rack-aluminum, coated w bedliner, lights installed, adjustable awning mount, rotopax and maxx trax mounts...lid still opens so I can get stuff out of corners...

11. Experience with Tom, Andy and Ryan (pictured below working on rack) was great and easy. Very good communication and no surprises. The day I arrived for install and pickup they made sure everything was perfect. Well worth the 8 hr drive!

Sure I forgot some stuff. Check Nuthouse Facebook over the next few weeks if you're interested as they will be doing an overview. I'm happy to answer any questions.

Got a chance to test it out on the beach. Really didn't notice it was there. Filling up 6 tires took some time lol.
