Thanks Don appreciate the comments.
Etosha is really a magical place. A bit expensive for us 'locals' but affordable for the people that pay in USD :)

Fantastic, thanks for posting.

We went to Namibia and Botswana last year, I have never had such an urge to re visit somewhere. Will be there again this August camping at Onguma.

Your photos really are great, apart from the equipment have you any tips? Do you sit in 1 spot and wait or just get lucky?

Amazing photos. I visited as a child in the 80s with my South African grandparents. One day I hope to take my own kids.

Thanks for the kind words.
The nice thing at Etosha is the fact that so many animals are congregated around the waterholes. No need to drive for hours like for example in our own Kruger. Also best to go in the dry season where the animals dont venture too far from the waterholes.
Equipment wise, its all in the glass. My wife hired the latest Canon 300mm f2.8 lens for the trip and I used my 550d body.

I shared your photos of the school house with my mother and uncle who grew up in rural South Africa in the 1950's. they said it looked just like their primary school.
