New to me Lexus GX 470

I recently acquired a 2003 Lexus GX 470. 120k on the clock, all service done at Lexus dealerships including new tb and water pump, dash recall has been addressed and new dash on order, minor surface rust underneath, everything works well.
My question to those in the know is, are there any issues I should be looking for? Want to do a lil more then mild build, lift, front rear bumper, custom drawer setup, roof rack, and a few odds and ends. I'll do the realy hard stuff with my FJ and this truck for milder roads and towing a new trailer I'm looking to get.
I know the platform and like the truck, just not as familiar with it as the FJ.
Thanks in advance.

Yea I know the platform, I was just hoping to address any issues before digging into the build threads.
Thx tho, I'll get to reading!

Google would probably be better than posting and waiting on the off chance someone knows something.

Only real issue I've sent there is radiator leaks. I'm more interested in people who wheel em and build em up. Honestly I don't really see any major issues so that's a good thing! Thx for your reply

I can help some on that. I did alot of GX470 research before buying my Rover LR3(still not sure the right choice).

Some 1st gen's don't have Atrac which IMO is a good but slow system. First step is to find out if you have that.

The GX470 is basically a Toyota Prado internationally so you can research those too for more info. The 4runner is so similar you could almost say they are the same(different body).

A-trac can be quirky but simulates limited slips in the front and rear diffs giving you traction when the tire comes off the ground. This requires constant input on the accelerator to allow the system to sort it out. Once you it an obstacle and think you're stuck just stay on the gas(don't floor it and break stuff) and let atrac work it out.. This is counter intuitive when coming from other 4x4's.
