I must say, its not every day that i get on a forum and almost every other member has a ride that is in my liking. well until now here are my rides

95 montero sr, just has 31s and a home made rack for now.

a 83 trooper that well i just love for some reason. also a home made rack and alot of spray paint.

That's one sweet job you've done there. How much stuff have you been able to put up there? It's using the OE roof rack holes right? IIRC, those aren't made to hold too much weight but maybe someone can confirm/deny that.

If you want to make the mount stronger, you can probably easily modify it to use the rain gutters.

Yeah I wasn't expecting it to hold to much. I normaly put a cooler, two tents sleepi g bags chairs bedding and a box of toys. So didn't need to much strangth.

My last trip out I leaned up against a tree and the rack saved my car. Didn't bend or dent anything. Also in a car garage there was a strange stretched numb that made me hit the roof only while the rear tires went over it. Bottomed the suspension out without doing any damage.( beside paint) so it holds pritty well

I was worried about the doors seal not clearing the bracket so I went with this style. I did go with the gutter on my trooer though.
