OEM e-lockers, Ford & Tundra, any good ???

Chevy, best looking as well in my opinion. I know they are beating the crap out of the rigs but 13 combined is no better than my 1984 Blazer or 1995 F150 extened cab. I guess combined under normal conditions would be 15-16 mpg. At over 40 large tested price thats a huge investment.

Unless you're exclusively on the highway, current full size trucks get 13mpg. They all do. Couple a 6000# chassis with a V8 with almost 400hp and that's what happens. My 2006 F150 4x4 5.4 got 13. My 2007 Silverado 4x4 with the Max motor got 11. My 2009 F150 4x4 with the 5.4 and 6 speed auto gets 13. The cool thing is they get the same with a load.

The newest truck in your anecdote is five years old.

Newer Fords with the 3.5L EB or the 5.0L Coyote do better, as do the 2014 GMs, as do the Rams with the 8 spd.
