Offroad Trailer build from Bantam / M416 military trailer

Do you have a picture or can you describe how the spare was mounted on the front of the trailer when you first got it. I have a similar trailer adn am trying to figure that out. Looks like a decent spot to put it since it won't fit on the side (or I have not yet figured out that yet either).

Look at the picture 7 and 8 in the first post.It will show the mount. It was bolted took the trailer front wall. But due to the weight and vibration, the trailer wall was cracking. So I had to patch them.

If you are planning to go the same route, then make sure to support the weight by some bracket at the bottom.

I am planning to mount it under the trailer below the tongue.

Trailer electricals done.. Marker lights, stop, turn, reverse lights and the electric brakes too. During the test is when I found the fuse on the tow rig for trailer running light is blown. Luckily it was a simple diagnose.

Awesome build! At first I started scrolling through like a teenager thumbing through a playboy mag just looking at the pictures. When I got to the end, I started back from the beginning to read the "interesting articles" like an old man would with a nudie mag. Thanks for some great ideas!!!
