Old Lock'n'roll hitch

Picked up a small off-road tent trailer and it came with a Lock'n'roll hitch.
The trailer hasn't been used in decades. The hitch rotation seems limited by rust/corrosion.
I have been soaking it for the last few days with penetrating oil with not much improvement.
The rotation seems to be limited to maybe about 1/3 of whit the design seems to allow.
The design seems very outdated and limiting compared to what I saw today with when I searched for a new lock'n'roll.
Would I be better off picking up a new version rather than getting this old one to rotate to its fullest potential.
No current off-road plans but I will be using it for some camping this coming week.

Nothing better than pulling in for a while to break it lose. Try hitting it with some lithium grease before you go.
