I couldn't bear to drill the camper walls to mount the awning, so I bolted some conduit channel into the jack mounts. This is the second rack I've built with that stuff, works really well and it's easy to find!

We're running an ARB room under the awning this summer and the driver side RamBox is just big enough to stuff that thing in there. Makes it extremely convenient to set up and tear down.

Great write up. Love the way you mounted awning . I have owned many truck campers. Just bought a 2020 1240 . So far loving it .

I bought a ss550 to ride on back of a f250 3 months ago. went cross country for 2 weeks without a hitch. really love it. Only issue is the roof puts strain on the front lift motors. Had to replace one. Other than that no problems.love the interior height and the large comfortable bed. I took the table out and built a storage cabinet for that space. Works great.
