Passo di Tremalo permanatly closed to vehicles

Well, the trend of closing popular Alp routes continues.....looks like effective immediately, the Tremalo pass is no longer open to anything other than walking and bicycles....

Glad I had the chance to drive it back when it was still open...

you guys were planning going further south,weren't you? French/Italian Alps if I recall? This road is on the west bank of Lake Garda....so more easterly and Italian?



it is a scary trend though.....it seems to be happening more often of late. This one is bad as its a full closure....many of the other ones are just seasonal closures (which seem to get longer and longer)
