Pinzgauer 712 Ambulance Box for sale
Will make a great expedition camper on the back of a truck or on a trailer.
Well insulated, High strength military construction.
Includes the 4 aluminum stretcher racks that make great beds, seats and tables.
The front of box has tons of factory inside storage cabinets, 16 inches deep.
The original heater has been removed so it has lots of extra storage space.
Outside lockable storage locker were the vehicle's spare tire was mounted.
Stretcher racks fold to make two long bench seats, for 4 'beds'.
You can mix and match positions, and since the stretcher racks move up and down, they can be use for tables.
Liftable from the top via 4 factory-lifting eyes, or via camper jacks.
NO modifications have been made by cutting windows, hatches, etc. It is still as solid as when it left the military.
Length - 121 inches outside - - 119 inches inside (103" + 16" cabinets)
Height -- 68 inches outside - - 65.5 inches inside (56" were benches are)
Width -- 70 inches outside - - 68 inches inside Footwell is 12 inches high and 31 inches wide.
Weight -- I'd guess about 1000 pounds. I can't find a spec for the weight on the Internet, and it will not fit on my bathroom scale.
I'm very accommodation as far as helping out with shipping if you can't pick it up.
I have a hoist so it can be lifted and loaded on a trailer or ramps to load in a truck.
