Just joined the Jeep scene. :victory:

Picked up this '99 Sahara last weekend.

Will be a demo-rig for a prototype camper :ylsmoke:


As far as I can tell, its 100% stock mechanically, besides the 2" coil spacers, wheels, and 32" tires.

4.0, 5-speed, 3.73's, etc. Missed out on the D44 rear, but Ill probably just do a 8.8 swap.

If you don't plan to go bigger on the tires, I wouldn't worry about the D35. Otherwise I would do the Revolution Super 35 kit before ever doing the 8.8 swap. A lot easier installation, stronger, relatively cheap in terms of axles, and comes with an ARB locker:D

No plans to go bigger than 32's

But I'm more concerned about load capacity of wheel bearings than axle strength.

The proposed camper prototype will more than likely put the rig right at max GVWR.
