That is really hard. I've got the same mix and she has never liked small children right off, going on 12 and still doesn't. Doesn't like strange women to come up to her and give a pet either. She did get to be fine with the grand kids though. I'd be interested if I wasn't 2500 miles away. Good luck.

After seeking advice of many, we have come to the unfortunate realization that we cannot keep Gus in our home. He is a wonderful dog, but is not good around infants. Nothing has happened to my son Wesley, but in order to avoid any mishaps, it is best that he be in another home. It absolutely pains my wife, step-son and I to do this, but it needs to be done.

We have had him since 10 weeks old and he is now just over 2 years old. He is well trained, smart and very loving. Gus is a Lab/Border Collie mix and I have a ton of pictures of him. If you, or anyone you know is looking for a great companion, please contact me. :(

Yeah, Gus is fine with kids over the age of ~3 since they can understand not to just grab him, but he's very unsure of my son now that he's moving around and crawling towards him. Before my son was just a little human that couldn't invade his space. :)

My best buddy Zoey. She went after a frog in the shallow creek and then relaxing while making sure I don't leave without her in the Jeep. Great dog. :)

OK, so who crawls under their truck with a camera to wait and see what comes by to shoot?

Cool shot though. Well done. :victory:

A few photos of Boris in the Belledonne mountains in South East France, on our way to refuge Jean Collet at 2000m. A days drive from London.

Access to most of the hiking trails in the area is perfectly possible in the spring and summer in any normal car (not sports cars!), in fact in this case a truck or 4x4 would not have got to the the highest parking spot on the road as a tree had fallen across over the winter and headroom was limited.
